New Kenworth T680 To Star In Road Tour

Kenworth Truck Company today announced the Kenworth T680 Road Tour, which begins in May and will visit 100 Kenworth dealers in the United States and Canada throughout the year.

The Kenworth T680 Road Tour features the new aerodynamic T680 introduced at the Mid-America Trucking Show. The Kenworth T680 sets an industry standard for aerodynamics and fuel efficiency, and is designed to maximize performance in line haul, pickup and delivery, and regional hauling operations. Available with a new 76-inch sleeper or as a day cab, the T680 is standard with the 12.9-liter PACCAR MX engine.

We've developed an extraordinary, self-guided exhibit that needs to be experienced. "Each display within the fabulous, double-expanding, 53-foot T680 tour trailer features major enhancements that all come together to make the Kenworth T680 the new industry standard for aerodynamics, quietness, comfort, visibility, reliability, durability and serviceability."

The Kenworth exhibit is available for viewing through Saturday, March 24, outside the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center's South Wing during the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville.

The T680 tour trailer features nearly 1,000 square-feet of exhibit space. The self-contained Kenworth tour trailer has a 40-kilowatt generator to provide heat and cooling as needed to maintain a very comfortable environment for visitors.

Inside, visitors can examine T680 displays on aerodynamics, full day cab, new sleeper, seats, trim levels and interior color options, robust effortless-closing doors, best in class headlamp system, and test the ease of the new air-assisted hydraulic clutch. Also featured are the Kenworth NavPlus® system with Bluetooth capability for hands-free cell phone calling, and the fuel-efficient, low-emission PACCAR MX engine.
