Kenworth T280 Concrete Pump Truck to be Auctioned to Support CIM Education Program at World of Concrete
In an effort to support the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) education program, Kenworth, Papé Kenworth, and Alliance Concrete Pumps have partnered to donate a Kenworth T280 concrete pump truck to be sold at the annual CIM auction at World of Concrete in Las Vegas. The live auction will be held on January 24, between 1 – 2 p.m. Pacific Standard Time in Room N262 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Kenworth T280 up for auction features the PACCAR PX-7 engine rated at 260-hp and 660 lb.-ft. of torque with a truck-mounted Alliance Concrete Pumps JMP-60 line pump. Other contributing suppliers for this truck include Alcoa Wheels, Goodyear Tires, and Allison Transmission. The T280 concrete pump does not require a CDL to operate, making it a versatile and convenient option.
“Our JMP-60 line pump is truly a do-it-all machine,” said Clayton White, Alliance Concrete Pumps president and CEO. “The JMP-60 is one of our top-selling products, and we are excited to once again team up with Kenworth and Papé Kenworth to pair this machine with the T280, which should appeal to a wide range of concrete contractors and generate a nice donation to support CIM.”

This year marks the fifth time Kenworth has partnered with industry suppliers and Kenworth dealers to donate a Kenworth truck for the CIM auction. For the past two CIM auctions in 2022 and 2023, Kenworth, Papé Kenworth, and Alliance Concrete Pumps provided Kenworth T880 concrete pump trucks, resulting in more than $1 million donated to CIM.
