SYRACUSE, N.Y., July 25, 2012 - Kenworth of Buffalo has relocated its Syracuse dealership to a larger facility strategically located at Interstate 90 (New York Thruway) Exit 35 and is also accessible to I-81, State Routes 11 and 481, and the Syracuse airport.
The full-service operation joins a Kenworth dealer network of more than 325 locations in the United States and Canada. Kenworth of Buffalo - Syracuse is located on nearly 7 acres with ample parking space for trucks and trailers. The dealership features 12 service bays, with one bay dedicated as a wash bay. The nearly 26,000 square-foot facility offers superior parts availability with 4,500 square feet of parts warehousing and 1,000 square feet of parts display. The drivers' lounge offers wireless Internet and flat-screen TV to help drivers relax or catch up on paperwork while waiting for their trucks to be serviced. The facility offers free shuttle service and is a New York state inspection station.
To celebrate the new location, Kenworth of Buffalo - Syracuse will host a customer appreciation day Sept. 19. This event will coincide with an appearance by the new aerodynamic Kenworth T680 during its national road tour.
The new Syracuse facility is located in the heart of an active trucking market that is home to several carrier terminals.
