Kenworth’s Chillicothe, Ohio, Assembly Plant Named Best Place To Work in Ross County for Second Consecutive Year

Kenworth’s assembly plant in Chillicothe, Ohio, was named the “Best Place To Work in Ross County” for the second consecutive year in an annual readers’ poll conducted by the Chillicothe Gazette.

“Our employees take pride in our standing as a premium manufacturer of The World’s Best® trucks, and in Kenworth’s commitment to this community,” said Judy McTigue, Kenworth-Chillicothe plant manager. “There is an incredible work ethic here in Chillicothe, and our entire city is proud to watch Kenworth trucks roll off the line. Kenworth thanks the people of Ross County for voting us the “Best Place to Work.”

Kenworth’s Chillicothe, Ohio, plant was opened in 1974, employs more than 1,950 people, and has built more than 530,000 Kenworth trucks during its history. Over the past five years, Kenworth has invested $67 million in the plant to further enhance its efficiency and productivity.
