Kenworth Showcases Certified Pre-Owned Trucks at MATS
Kenworth is launching its new Kenworth Certified Pre-Owned program at the Mid-America Trucking Show. Available in the United States and Canada, the new program offers first-rate Kenworth Class 8 trucks.
To qualify, each Kenworth Certified Pre-Owned Class 8 truck must be four (model) years of age or less, have mileage under 450,000 miles, and pass a comprehensive 150-point inspection. Kenworth has four Certified Pre-Owned Kenworth trucks on display and for sale – at Booth number 91515 in the parking lot in front of the South Wing entrance – during the Mid-America Trucking Show. They include two Kenworth T680s with 76-inch sleepers, T660 72-inch Aerodyne sleeper, and W900L day cab.
“Kenworth has long been a leader when it comes to providing a well-constructed truck with a long service life,” said Kurt Swihart, Kenworth marketing director. “This program not only gives the second owner of a Kenworth truck a great investment, but also peace of mind thanks to new warranty protections we’re putting into place.”
When a Kenworth Certified Pre-Owned truck is purchased with a PACCAR MX-13 engine, it comes standard with a Kenworth factory–backed one-year, 125,000-mile warranty covering 105 components on the engine and aftertreatment system. “This pre-owned engine and aftertreatment warranty is a testament to the confidence we have in the PACCAR engine platform,” said Swihart. “We also offer a 90-day buyer assurance warranty – on trucks powered by PACCAR engines – that provides protection on 135 components, including major chassis components and the HVAC system.”
Buyers of Kenworth Certified Pre-Owned trucks are also eligible for incentives when financing through PACCAR Financial. In addition, all new owners will receive a Kenworth loyalty card, which provides discounts on an array of quality truck parts.
Swihart said new listings, including the popular Kenworth T680 model, are continuously being added to the Kenworth Certified Pre-Owned inventory. “The T680 is our best-selling truck. It’s now starting to come into the used truck market and demand is high.”
