Kenworth Names 2014 Parts and Service and TRP All-Makes Dealers of the Year

Truck Enterprises Hagerstown in Maryland was named Kenworth’s Parts and Service Dealer of the Year for the second consecutive year for the United States and Canada, while Worldwide Equipment was selected as Kenworth’s TRP All-Makes Dealer of the Year. The awards were announced at the recent Kenworth Dealer Meeting.

The parts and service award recognizes the Kenworth dealer that scores high in customer satisfaction and provides customers with the best parts and service support among the more than 360 dealership locations throughout the United States and Canada.

“Truck Enterprises Hagerstown achieved this award again by offering customers timely service support and the parts they need to get their trucks back on the road making money,” said David Danforth, PACCAR Parts general manager and PACCAR vice president. “Truck Enterprises Hagerstown scored high marks among customers in 2014 for providing convenient hours of service, responding quickly to their parts and service needs, and by meeting and exceeding Kenworth’s standards for a clean and orderly maintenance facility.”

In addition to Truck Enterprises Hagerstown, Truck Enterprises also operates Kenworth dealerships in Chesapeake, Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, Manassas, Richmond, and Roanoke, Va.; and in Keyser, W.Va.

Kenworth’s TRP All-Makes Dealer of the Year award, which went to all 18 Worldwide Equipment’s Kenworth locations, recognized the Kenworth dealer that provides the best support for TRP parts and service among all Kenworth dealers.

“By routinely suggesting our line of TRP replacement parts, which provide industry-leading performance, Worldwide Equipment not only increased its TRP parts sales by more than 20 percent at its Kenworth locations, but also helped many customers realize significant value,” Danforth said. “By encouraging customers to sign up for the Kenworth Privileges loyalty card and to use the program’s significant discounts, Worldwide Equipment parts sales people helped customers achieve even greater savings.”

“Our crew of more than 30 outside parts salespeople worked hard promoting and delivering the TRP line of all-make parts to our customers from our 18 Kenworth locations,” said Terry Dotson, president and chief executive officer of Prestonsburg, Ky.-based Worldwide Equipment. “Once customers understand the value proposition that TRP all-makes parts offer, the quality of the parts convince them to order more.
